A better way to take money from Amazon's pockets: don't give amazon your money

Certainly preferable.

Technofeudalism at it's best.

Sounds like an attempt to turn paid jobs into tip-based jobs. That way Amazon doesn't have to pay them as much. So they build the infrastructure, but they need to test it and normalize it.

Doesn’t look like you can do this in the UK.

Amazon directly pays the driver's 5 bucks if you hit this button after a delivery.

I'm aware of the issues with tipping culture guys, but the poor fucker stuck delivering packages is probably still gonna appreciate an extra 5 bucks.

If Amazon stops paying their employees, and uses this feature as an alternative to fair wages, it should not be used.

In general it's advisable to just avoid Amazon entirely.

It's not a tip, cause it doesn't charge you anything extra. It's literally a button that says "pay my driver more"

So, what you're telling me is that we need to figure a way to conspire with drivers in a way that they don't need to deliver what you bought, but you can still click that button

I tell my Alexa to thank my driver. Does this work the same?

How and why
