To be fair, I do feel fairly hopeless about my situation in Europe. But I'm happy I'm not in America and I know that any idea of Musk's will make things worse

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

One of the disappointments of rednote was learning how many Chinese people bought his "genius engineer progressing humanity" PR horseshit. But they seemed much more understanding when they learned how he treats his kids.

The reason we don't have any of those nice things in the USA is due to multiple factors. But the one that bothers me the most is: conservative voters are willing and happy to let leopards eat their faces as long as the leopards say mean things about "liberals" while doing it.
We have a lot of problems here in the UK but at least most of us think Musk is an idiot. That diver he called a paedophile way back was a point of national pride for us at the time, because he was British.
