Shout-out to my sisters and brothers-in-arms!

Report here if you got permabanned ("permanently suspended") while protesting Reddit, participating in the blackout, or for any related reason.

I said politics mods are the worst. Permanently banned after 12 years and 150,000 comment karma. I hope the site burns down.

Seconded, sibling-in-arms!

Idk if it's related but I got a permaban for reporting hateful content which they then took down. I appealed with this image for funsies but I don't really care either way.

I got banned from r/softwaregore for editing my comment ... if that counts

Posted a Google Streetview link of a public layby - Permabanned, but I dont know why! Wasnt protesting, participating in a blackout, just trying to show another redditor where an event took place

That is just one long big bad joke. Something similar happened to me.

Btw, how do you know it was the streeview link that did it even? Was it just the timing? Could have been a coincidence. I almost wonder if they're using some machine learning crud to figure out who to ban, and the machine is just giving random stupid answers and no human is checking to see if it's valid.

No, it was that, the reason I know is that I appealed it - twice. The grounds were harrassment of all things - which is bizzarre because it was nothing to do with any other reddit user

I tried to appeal mine, but unlike you they wouldn't give me an answer or even tell me what grounds it was on. The second and third appeal got no replies, period.

It really does not make any sense especially now when they are already losing a lot of users

I got perma banned for calling a mod out on their hypocrisy. They closed a sub indefinitely but left their pet political sub open. Why? Because in their words "it was performing a social service".
There were a lot of hate filled posts that I reported. They didn't like that and perma banned me. It was the push I needed to finally leave that shit hole
