Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! โœˆ๏ธ

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

I don't think the questions are the problem. Ang hirap hirap nga ng exam with 90% of the questions about stuff you wouldn't encounter for most of your driving lifetime. I mean, 10 variations of saan direction ng wheel mo when parking on an incline?

Motorists knowingly break the law because they 1) are impatient fuckers, and 2) know they can get away with it sometimes. Alam naman nila na for buses lang bus lanes - hindi naman sila pumapasok dun kasi hindi nila alam sagot, lol. But they go in there anyway because they don't want to be stuck in traffic and there's a strong chance no enforcer would be there to pull them over unless they're filming some TV program or social media spectacle. And if they do get caught, the fine is a slap in the wrist and absolutely worth it over hours on end on the pleb road.

If they're trying to curb gun violence and road rage, it's even more idiotic. Alam naman nila na bawal magkasa at manutok, common sense lang. Yet they do it at the most trivial circumstances because they're assholes.

At least it looks like it's low on the priority list. Harsher penalties should be considered instead. Road rage with a firearm should ban your license completely for both the gun and your car.

Wait. Is the problem a driving problem or gun violence?
