The sad thing is that if we collectively pooled our resources, instead of fueling wars, etc. we could build a bajillion desalinization plants, stop, or at least slow down climate change, end poverty, buy every child a steam deck...
And the steam deck is actually not that stupid. It's a linux computer after all. Sort of the modern Raspberry Pi concept evolved. Yeah, I know it's way more expensive.
