Yeah, and exactly where were they 5 years ago when bernie sanders was poised to win the nomination before every other candidate dropped out? They did everything in their power then to ensure sanders wouldn’t be nominated and they didnt care if a senile old mummy was handed the nuclear football. They dont ever really care because the president has no real power, wall street military and prison industry profiteers call the shot and hand pick the presidential party nominees behind closed doors so they win either way. those with the biggest bank accounts get the most say. But they probably all meet in private and have a vote split by the size of their net worth, like a big pissing contest for children with massive egos who regularly commit crimes against humanity with out having to consider pesky consequences.

Exactly! And it's why I left the Dem party forever over the Bernie thing. I love Bernie.

The content here does not present a report of him being senile, or anything that's different from him and trump, health wise. But it appears to be rather upset about an old retired guy existing as himself.

Hi from overseas! I was hoping for some actual issues or something. This journalist is just another angry kid in the kindergarten of American politics.

Well apparently the dem party disagreed with you, and that's what they pulled him and put up Kamala. And they still lost.

You're almost as petty as the article, what's up with this emotional load over this?

Right wing tabloid and murdoch paper paywalled. What is this crap.

It wouldn't be surprising. No one that old has any business being the president, or any political leader. Same goes for Mango Mussolini, Pelosi, Turtle Man, etc.

Yep. We need term limits AND age limits for politicians.

Wall Street Journal (not New York Times like I said in error) investigation. So are you saying it's not true? Are you saying that there weren't people covering up Biden's problems to keep it from the American public?

[–] Boomkop3@reddthat.com 2 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

They're saying it's paywalled. The new york times does not having a shining perfect reputation and you don't either. You need more than just "cuz they said so" to convince them I think.

[–] UniversalMonk@lemm.ee 1 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

I didn't write the article.

Also, I think most Democrats know it to be true, but are just pissed because this is one of the few times Republicans were right.

The Democrat party let their voters down. Just because the Republicans are celebrating it, doesn't mean that the Dems should shy away from admitting and making some hard changes.

I voted third-party in the election, so I don't care one way or the other. And I also personally don't believe that the Dems will learn anything from this. But I hope they do.

[–] Boomkop3@reddthat.com 0 points 5 days ago (1 children)

With this petty tone and empty personal attacks I'd almost think it's you who's upset for some reason. And the writer of this article I guess.

[–] UniversalMonk@lemm.ee 1 points 5 days ago

I'm not upset at all. Why would I be? I didn't vote for Harris or Trump. lol

Both are the same to me. :)

Its really irrelevant at this point. They are just as culpable. People wanted Bernie Sanders but our wall street military and prison industry profiteer owned political establishment will do anything possible to ensure nobody who’s policies even remotely resemble those of fdr will never be allowed to be the party nominee. There is no left party in the USA. Just a far right and center right and both have puppet strings attached leading to the same grubby fingers. The same people buying our politicians like they are cheap trinkets for their personal curio cabinets also own the media outlets including wall street journal so where were they in 2020 when everyone but Biden and Sanders dropped out of the race?

Im saying that the posted sources are crap, please supply us a proper one. Not saying anything about the content.

[–] exploitedamerican@lemm.ee 3 points 5 days ago

Someone just posted the actual wsj investigative article. But saying the daily mail is a right wing rag is missing the reality that all the news outlets in america, all circularly owned by the same multi national war profiteer interests, are all right wing rags. Some of them just pretend to lean left when they are center right at best and unfortunately a great deal of people are naive enough to buy their bullshit.

It's not my job to make you happy.

I'm not a fucking reporter. I posted an article that I found interesting to Lemmy.

Feel free to look up any resources you want or check out the Wall Street Times article.
