Almost every single feeding/griefing case is someone just straight up having a bad game - it happens to all of us - getting outlaned, outplayed, missing last hits etc

So when I see this I think “oh this is just someone getting reported for being bad/new, I’m thinking not guilty”

Then I skip ahead 5 minutes and they’ve destroyed all of their items and are walking down mid

In all of these cases I think these players could have salvaged the game if they didn’t lose their minds - but what’s particularly interesting to me is that it’s never people destroying their items and walking down mid when one of their team mates is doing badly, only when they’re having a bad game.

I’d be curious to understand the psychology behind this sort of self-punishment/self-harm
