Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

"With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us,” she said.

Is that because they are used to throwing around threats to anyone they disagree with?

Trump, who survived two assassination attempts during his campaign

I mean his two would be assassins were Republican/Trump supporters after all.

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 2 points 3 weeks ago

Also they were the world's worst marksmen.

If they were legitimate bomb threats the body has ways of shutting that down /s

Love how it mentions their children, their ages, and how many they have like we're supposed to feel bad for literal fascists planning on harming all of us.

It's ironic since the children would probably be better off, knowing the kind of people they are.

"If you bomb me, this is how many kids will breathe a sigh of relief"

[–] gassygiant 36 points 3 weeks ago

Now they’re happy to trust the FBI to investigate. How convenient.

The article did say that there were also swatting incidents. Those can even result in somebody being killed.

It's pretty obvious what he's saying my man. Do you often need basic sentences explained to you?

[–] whithom 25 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I think you need it explained that they are saying “who gives a shit”

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 10 points 3 weeks ago

I'm pretty sure you're right. That's why I prefer to use this because there's no misunderstanding.

In an alternate universe:

"Why'd he do that?"

"Why wouldn't he?"

[–] ATDA@lemmy.world 33 points 3 weeks ago

Call me when they start shooting shit up like young conservatives that have been brainwashed.

Trump set the example. Violence will be rewarded.

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 32 points 3 weeks ago

Well, I guess Trump is really starting to piss off his true followers. I'm fairly certain that's where the bomb threats are coming from. I know the MAGAts have been bitching about the nomination of at least a couple of these clowns and saying that Trump has betrayed their values.

"A taste of my own medicine?" Let me play these stochastic terrorists a sad song on the world's smallest violin.

Good. These people should know no peace.

[–] some_designer_dude@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah, why aren’t billionaires living in fear yet? Forget these weak-ass politicians!

[–] wuphysics87@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago

That'll give you an idea of how big the gap really is

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 15 points 3 weeks ago

I couldn’t be bothered to care. Fuckem.

[–] masterofn001@lemmy.ca 14 points 3 weeks ago

Have they tried not eating cats and dogs?

[–] Grimy@lemmy.world 13 points 3 weeks ago

Bomb threat when it's against a school, bomb treat when it's against fascists.

[–] billiam0202@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago

Incompetent Reichstag fire?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 10 points 3 weeks ago

Bullies will always cry crocodile tears if they get the tiniest taste of their own medicine.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

They'll get something big enough and it's off to the races.

Their members are not likely to be in any way threatening.

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

[–] Alexstarfire@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Couldn't have happened to nicer people.

[–] WrenFeathers@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Here’s for hoping they’re successful.

[–] gnomesaiyan@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Somebody set up us the bomb.

[–] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago

Probably bored anti-woke gamers.

[–] futatorius@lemm.ee 1 points 3 weeks ago

They're probably lying as a pretext to introduce martial law.

[–] ubergeek@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

Oh no... ok.
