I'm impressed by how much everything grew in just 6 months. It's gonna be lush after next year's growth. The following year they will have to trim some things back, I suspect.

Agree. I've seen lots of nice landscaping in Arizona where most people don't have lawns. If they can figure it out, anyone can.

I love these update videos! Most of the stuff I planted two years ago finally started to look like something this summer 😆 but seeing all the monarchs, sootywings, fritillaries, skippers, and so many different bees made the growing pains worth it.

So do I! I hope he does another when most of it is blooming.
The two year mark is special; things start to look truly transformed. You can begin to see how things will fill in, who needs pruners or space. The way it draws wildlife (of all kinds throughout the year) is really cool and calming to watch.
