When I accidentally wonder into a trans thread on someplace like
or beehaw, I'm always like "wtf is with these comments?" and then check the instance...
except the slander here seems to be leading people towards worse outcomes
most people are on the lemmyverse are liberals and the same is true for trans people.
it's depressing to see them coalesce around the same people that put them in this situation that they're in to begin with and we can't stop them from making that choice.
whose Kristina and TC_69? are they in the post somewhere? (i can't find them)
Oh they're not in the post, Kristina is a top mod here, and TC69 was a previous admin
both had a very large role in making hexbear a fortress for trans users
did they comment on that post?
Kristina used to be more active, TC_69 left a while ago, before i joined i think. So i don't think so, no.

Kristina's last post was a minute ago, I think she just used to post more.
TC69 hasn't posted on her main account in 3 years and stepped down from being an admin before that. There's always a chance that she's still posting under an alt.
TC_69 left that long ago? Now I feel old.
TC69 is actually half the userbase, having llms generate the majority of comments and posts here

Serious question: is it not callous as hell for myself, as a cishet dude, to be telling trans people in the US that the negative outcome here was coming either way? What's a better line to take?
