If you ask reddit, he's actually there fighting because Russia is so desperately low on manpower after waves of zerg rushes.

Seagal's getting on the Bruce Willis "old action movie fuck punching a time card" bandwagon, huh?

In The Name Of Justice

Whistle blown, MAGA boomers barking around the block grillman

EDIT: I didn't know about Bruce Willis' brain condition and I now completely understand and support his bag-getting and phoning it in to make his remaining years more comfortable.

Well, Bruce Willis knew he had a degenerative brain disease and wanted to make a lot of money so he wouldn't end up destitute once he couldn't act

Steven Seagal still thinks he's a five-star badass, despite the fact that he was once made to shit himself on the set of a movie

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago

I admittedly didn't know that about Bruce Willis. That's a bag worth getting then and I won't knock him for it further.

Willis at least did his bad action movie arc with a purpose: he knew his brain had an expiry date, and wanted to secure as large a bag as possible before he wouldn't be able to work anymore.

Steven Seagal is just a wanker.

I mean, he's a wanker, too. But that's one of the non-dickhead things I can't fault the guy for.

Just how many cops can "cross the line," anyway? thinking-about-it

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 13 points 2 months ago

Given the leniency on cops I imagine it's shooting dogs past a certain set quantity.

Fuck this sexual predator piece of shit. I hope a drone blows him to pieces.

[–] REgon@hexbear.net 10 points 2 months ago

Don't forget he's also a cop

90s action movie star, one time actual martial artist, but for the last twenty years he's mostly been an embarrassment. And then there's the sexual abuse allegations!

[–] REgon@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

Wasn't he an aikido "martial artist"? Like the "least martial" martial art?

I was going to just call it straight up "fake," but this redditor actually wrote some pretty good stuff about it.

[–] SSJ3Marx@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

I'm giving young Seagal the benefit of the doubt because the vibe I get from him in that era is that he still cared, although I admit I honestly have no idea and maybe he was grifting all along.

Who is this guy? he's an actor who makes his own movies and writers his own effusive character summaries of himself as the commensurate badass of all badasses, to be delivered on screen.

I remember even at age 10 when I was trying to jump kick and karate chop everything, finding this shit cheesy.

Under Siege is just Die Hard On A Boat But Worse.

Also did you know Steven Seagal has it in his contract that all his movies need to be titled such that it can be said in the trailer that "Steven Seagal IS [movie title]"?

[–] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 2 points 2 months ago

lol hell yeah, what a nut case. it amuses me when weirdos like that police their identity as a brand, especially for something so absurd like an actor trying to make sure everyone "knows" they're a real tough guy.

meanwhile, he looks and moves as though he would get absolutely murdered by a flight of stairs.
