I mean I would argue that he has more features in use and is using less energy to do so, so... kind of? Edit he's also minimising any risk of leaks, unlike the other guys who will have splashback on their clothes.
As long as his system wasn't previously pissed on by a Windows user, it should be hygienic so what's so bad about what he's doing? The fact that it isn't always as comfortable for the user (if you're not used to it)?
