Nobody has ever used this in a good comment. It's either some dip shit being smug or some creep sexually harassing someone half their age

🀣 and πŸ˜‚ are both used almost universally for "I'm not mad" passive-aggressive boomer-tier cringe posting, so fuck them too.

That said, I do enjoy the Hexbear bespoke variations agony-4horsemen

I know this is dumb as hell but I genuinely have a visceral reaction to the cry laugh emojis, like, you just know the person on the other end of the screen is some maybe-later-kiddo grillman maybe-later-honey shithead

I openly despise those particular emojis and I have had nothing but bad experiences from those that use them frequently.

Aaaw. I use cry laugh emoji when my partner sends me a funny meme sad-boi

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 11 points 2 months ago

I suppose the difference is that you and your partner are in on it.

When a stranger is doing the "I am not mad, I just find it funny that you disagree with me in a way that I find contemptible but I don't want to seem mad about it, I'm laughing right now, really" routine, fuck that.

Lol same, I use it un ironically.

I-was-saying i was using them to communicate I found something very/extremely funny

I understand, but because of prior context I would personally still receive it like nails on a chalkboard. burgerpain

[–] propter_hog@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

Yeah I use it a lot at work since it's one of the default reactions in MS Teams
