I'm not happy with the current trend with oems making a phone with magnetic cases instead of adopting qi2.

Honestly, I'm not sure how I'd feel about a phone was qi2. Until a phone is built was an easily replaceable chassis and screen, I'm going to put a case on it.

I got a magnetic case for my phone and it works just fine.

Also, not sure if this is a problem for those with a phone magnet, but my magnet is already like 1/3 as powerful as new. Still strong enough, but could be stronger.

I think it's not just about magnets, it's also about accessory compatibility. Plus, I kinda agree with you that it's not a big deal but I hate the fact that oems just cheap out.

How might I go about relaunching springboard on Android? At least on iOS back in the day, it used to be called springboard, where it would reset the launcher, and you actually got booted back to the lock screen. Reason I ask is because I am on lineage OS and for whatever reason, after a while, my notification sounds stop working and I have to reboot my phone in order to get them back. But I saw yesterday that my springboard reloaded and the sounds came back as well. So I'm wondering how to force that instead of having to do a full reboot cycle. Note that I do not have and will not use root.
