Recruitment is now basically Dead Internet theory...

Auto_Jobs_Applier_AIHawk provides a significant advantage in the modern job market by automating and enhancing the job application process. With features like dynamic resume generation and AI-powered personalization, it offers unparalleled flexibility and efficiency. Whether you're a job seeker aiming to maximize your chances of landing a job, a recruiter looking to streamline application submissions, or a career advisor seeking to offer better services, Auto_Jobs_Applier_AIHawk is an invaluable resource. By leveraging cutting-edge automation and artificial intelligence, this tool not only saves time but also significantly increases the effectiveness and quality of job applications in today's competitive landscape.

I know people are using AI for jobs (heck Ive put a few cover letters though it), but getting close to automating the entire process is wild. Not sure how I feel about it.

I hate it on both ends.

If I ever lose my current job (I actually like it and am planning to retire from this one unlike all prior ones), I'll probably just go live in the woods or work some unskilled job. Not that I'm unskilled; I just have no desire to deal with what passes for job seeking these days.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 week ago

ah but you see someone else owns the woods so you can't live there, now keep being a good worker drone and buy the latest iphone

It is mutually assured destruction. The job seeker AI spams out a resume to every listing and the hiring AI rejects all applicants for not meeting some unknown criteria. In the end, no worker can find a job and no employer can get applicants. Companies go back to only hiring friends and families of existing employees.

I'm not looking rn, and not that I plan to use it but actually I like it. Fight fire with fire in this case. I would like to confine it to firms using AI recruiting tools, I'd much rather just pass someone my resume in person or chat with them and do away with silly form filling.

I would like to confine it to firms using AI recruiting tools

and actively do damage to companies that don't.

[–] andioop@programming.dev 3 points 2 weeks ago

I'm genuinely not sure how submitting your resume you put effort into instead of whatever optimized-for-AI-recruitment-slop this outputs will damage companies that don't use AI recruiting tools, could you elaborate?

[–] SirQuackTheDuck@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Or pollute the data of companies that do.

You can make the AI create a perfect candidate, but never supply real data.

Damn, capitalist. How's that boot taste?

[–] Xianshi@lemm.ee 7 points 2 weeks ago

I'd like to see this used against shitty companies to waste their time. Especially those that fuck over their employees or the environment.

[–] Mereo@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 weeks ago

This is cruel.

This is a very interesting use of this tech, as a countermeasure to the corpos' use of it. I appreciate the share!

"personalized"

[–] Rin@lemm.ee 3 points 2 weeks ago

Nice. I'm about to put in my 2 weeks anyway
