While this is inevitable, it's also terrifying. I don't think we're close to Skynet, but I could definitely see needless escalation due to over-relying on AI analysis.

100% agree, it is terrifying. I watched a film a couple days ago ‘Colossus: The Forbin Project’ It’s from 1970 and while dated in a few regards it gives an interesting take on AI controlling things within our government and military. Highly suggest it!
