My experience has always been that, of the weird dicky factionalist left, sparts are the dickiest factionalistist.

It's a fart but the really wet kind where you know you're going to need to change your underwear as soon as it happens

[–] anarcho_blinkenist@hexbear.net 19 points 3 months ago

From what I've seen, Sparts recruit entirely by harassing other trot groups and hoping one or two of those groups' trot-est members go "maybe these Spart guys are onto something". Seems crazy to me but I don't have a better fucking plan so I can't judge too harshly.

[–] HelltakerHomosexual@hexbear.net 12 points 3 months ago (1 children)

not even trots or leftcoms?

[–] thelastaxolotl@hexbear.net 29 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Spartacists are a type of trot

[–] HelltakerHomosexual@hexbear.net 22 points 3 months ago (2 children)
[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 24 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Do Trots split because there are so many types of Trot? Or are there so many types of Trot because of their predisposition to splitting?

[–] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 21 points 3 months ago (1 children)

They're so dialectical they take up the task of creating as many contradictions for new forms of ideology to be synthesized from.

[–] anarcho_blinkenist@hexbear.net 25 points 3 months ago (1 children)

yes-hahaha-yes-r
trot-shining MORE CONTRADICTIONS! MORE!

[–] Mindfury@hexbear.net 18 points 3 months ago (2 children)

the rate of trot contradiction creation is so high that they never have time to collapse sadness

[–] anarcho_blinkenist@hexbear.net 15 points 3 months ago

Trying to build a contradiction-ladder to communism. like a contradiction tower of babel

they will reach such heights that Marx will come down and scramble their theory

Wait did I just uncover the hidden origin of trotskyism?

[–] propter_hog@hexbear.net 10 points 3 months ago

Too bad trots don't reproduce as quickly as their contradictions, because then we'd have a good source of nuclear fusion by the sheer mass

[–] anarcho_blinkenist@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago

In proper Marxist tendency, it's more of a dialectical relationship between the two.

[–] thelastaxolotl@hexbear.net 15 points 3 months ago

You have to learn the Lore helltaker chad-trotsky

A group called "US out of Korea" gave a speech at the March on DNC 2024 protests. It seems pretty cool.

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Does anyone understand the intro graphic on that site? It's a claw mark animation but... Why? Is it something Korean?

[–] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

The tiger is a national symbol of Korea

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Interesting! Do they even have tigers? Or did they kill them all?

[–] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 3 points 2 months ago

Not any more, no, but they still feature pretty prominently in folklore and stuff from when they did

[–] jack@hexbear.net 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Nodutdol is very legit. They're a new organization, but formed by a lot of experienced ML and anti-imperialist organizers.

[–] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 5 points 3 months ago

Yeah, my org has worked with them and they're cool

[–] Rod_Blagojevic@hexbear.net 22 points 3 months ago

Event crashing is a Spart tradition

[–] Aradina@lemmy.ml 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I've got a bake sale right here(a sandwich)

[–] PM_ME_YOUR_FOUCAULTS@hexbear.net 14 points 3 months ago

Unfathomably based

[–] propter_hog@hexbear.net 23 points 3 months ago

It takes a nation as its input and outputs the nation plus nuclear armaments

[–] ThermonuclearEgg@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago

I'm hoping it gives the DPRK nukes but that would be too simple

[–] Mindfury@hexbear.net 21 points 3 months ago
