I recently created an account on a new kbin instance. Is there an easy way to migrate my account to that new instance? I feel like this should be easy to find. As such I suspect that such doesn't exist yet, or I'm an idiot. Both are equally possible.

Neither lemmy nor kbin have an account migration feature yet. AFAIK that's just a mastodon thing for now.

certainly not just a Mastodon thing, as Friendica , and I'm pretty sure GNU Social, had it before Mastodon did.

Thanks for the info though

I don't have that much content here anyway, I'll just need to rejoin the like 40 magazines, just need to decide which of the 5 different kbin instancanes I joined today I'd rather be on.

I believe this may be what you are looking for. It is compatible with both lemmy and kbin AFAIK. https://github.com/CMahaff/lasim
