Growing po.....neapples.

It’s now my home office.

[–] kyden@l.cackl.io 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That is what I was thinking! Do you plan on finishing it or "roughing" it with the exposed insulation?

[–] Sam@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I had a sheet rock guy finish it, then painted it and put flooring and baseboards in. I posted a picture with the floor and paint done

Holy crap! That looks great. May I ask how much the whole project sans furniture cost?

I need to do something similar. How are you planning to finish the insulation? Paneling? Leaving as is? Paper? Something else?

[–] Sam@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

Finished it with 5/8 Sheetrock. This is after wiring in cat6 Ethernet and a 20 amp and 30 amp circuit (computer and lights on the 20, space heater on the 30)

That's already better than my tent

It’s a US brand that uses 2x4 construction as opposed to 2x3 that a lot of other shed brands use.

Ooooooh. I was thinking the outside was made of tuff.

Ah nice. You turning into a tiny home? I don’t see sheds insulated all that often.

Edit: never mind. I see you made an office. Nice!

Looks like a scary movie poster

That looks really cozy actually.

Gonna add osb? Good luck with the cuts.

Sheet rock, but I had someone else do that part. I ran all the electrical and the insulation and then painted and laid the flooring and moldings but man I just hate sheetrock and mud dust.

No one can hear you scream...in the shed!

[–] Sam@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

They really can’t now that the 5/8 Sheetrock is on on top of this. I live directly under the flight path of SFO and can barely hear the jets flying over

Looks like interrogation scene from season 2 of stranger things
