Wow ..that's a wild ride, not even the Golden State Killer had that type of commitment. He kept it moving....like who just lights newspapers in a house. That's just not something that's done, who has the time to constantly stalk someone else like that?

This does sound like a suicide attempt. I think a lot of people attribute being hogtied to the presence of an attacker when those who commit suicide are known to tie themselves so that they won't be able to back out.
