At least good that it's temporary. I tried searching for the announcement but didn't find it, so thanks for linking it.
Exactly this. It's also the reason why images can currently not be uploaded to lemmy.world directly (avatars, banners etc), account registration got a bit more complicated, and a couple of other (temporary) safety measures all across the Fediverse.

This Fediverse thing is turning out reaaaaaally well.
It's not blocked, but I have seen the same problem with lemmy.ca, the feed is different between others linked instances.
There is a sync problem somewhere ๐
