An Atreus 62.

More keys than I need honestly. Half of the lower keys aren’t actually bound to anything.

That’s a very unique key layout.

What is it called? It doesn’t seem like it’s QWERTY or Dvorak.

That's COLEMAK. The more intelligent Dvorak.

Just curious. Why is Coleman considered to be a more intelligent Dvorak?

You can look up studies, most say that the coleman layout is more efficient, finger travel and what not. I haven't used either one, so I was just putting out some snark.

I use colemak and its really easy to learn from a lifetime of qwerty.

These keycaps look awesome! Can you share a link?

They look like mt3 susuwatari to me

[-] Lenbok@lemmy.nz 1 points 1 year ago

Susuwatari, as the other guy said. You can buy sets on Drop.

Looking good!

Are there any other advantages to ergomech keyboards than ergonomics?

Do you like, type faster or is it just personal preference?

Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid
