This is only hilarious because I'm not T-Swizzle. Lunch thieves are the worst, and this is comedic gold.

[โ€“] breadsmasher@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (3 children)

if someone keeps stealing your sandwiches, replace an ingredient with shards of glass!

edit

seems people took this joke seriously ๐Ÿ˜

I am 95% sure that this is illegal, at least in California. Which is a little disappointing, but just letting you know.

[โ€“] Crashumbc@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It's illegal in most places.

[โ€“] MindTraveller@lemmy.ca 14 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

However, it's perfectly legal to put in enough sriracha to ruin someone's day, as long as you can handle it.

This is why I eat spicy food for every meal. I'm playing the long game.

[โ€“] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 months ago

Sriracha would only inconvenience the common sandwich thief. Gotta go at least habanero or higher to deter the average joe. You might want to step up to scorpion, ghost, or reaper if you want effects to be immediately apparent to the non spice head.

I recommend to use extremely hot chilli Instead.

You are advocating for at best food poisoning or at worse attempted murder.

Am i the only one here that doesnt think this is genuine? I cant have fun with a meme like this if i feel is faked

[โ€“] At7889@lemmy.world 45 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I think it is fake. Though I enjoyed it like a funny show with a suspension of belief.

[โ€“] DamienGramatacus@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Definitely not real but I still enjoyed the bit.

[โ€“] Zorque@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

I only enjoyed because it was fake. Otherwise it'd just be petty office bullshit, which is no fun for anyone.

[โ€“] GreatRam@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago

In real life you would just wait to see who's putting up the messages

[โ€“] Mothra@mander.xyz 30 points 3 months ago (4 children)

Am I the only one who can't read a thing not even zoomed up? Is it not Pixel Thief instead?

[โ€“] MrQuallzin@lemmy.world 42 points 3 months ago (1 children)

It depends on your client. In Sync, you need to click into the post then the image to get full resolution. Clicking the image from the front page just blows up the thumbnail

[โ€“] Notyou@sopuli.xyz 6 points 3 months ago

Thanks. I had the same complaint and it worked for me.

[โ€“] yum@lemmy.eco.br 16 points 3 months ago

It's perfectly readable through Voyager

[โ€“] citrusface@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Look in your settings or upper corner - it's loading low res to load fast. There's either an HD button or HD option somewhere in your app

[โ€“] Mothra@mander.xyz 1 points 3 months ago

This! Thank you

[โ€“] RightHandOfIkaros@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Connect for Lemmy displays it correctly.

Client issue?

[โ€“] ironhydroxide@sh.itjust.works 27 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Where can I donate so you can afford more pixels?

[โ€“] lazynooblet@lazysoci.al 20 points 3 months ago

If you're using Sync, view the image from the comments section to see the original quality.

I was waiting for: dear sandwich theif, this is IT. We have the printer logs. HR brought us donuts. Your move.

[โ€“] Hupf@feddit.org 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Angering HR? No problemo. IT? I wouldn't dare...

[โ€“] Etterra@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

It's not like HR values only the welfare of the company and isn't just there to provide the illusion that employees matter to them.

[โ€“] scytale@lemm.ee 6 points 3 months ago

I'd let it go the moment I see the thief's filthy hands on my sandwich.

[โ€“] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 months ago

I don't suppose you could change this to a slide show? It is a very long image.

[โ€“] MonkderVierte@lemmy.ml 6 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'm swiss, what is a swiss sandwich?

[โ€“] Not2Dopey@sh.itjust.works 7 points 3 months ago

Swiss cheese on the sandwich. Not a Swiss sandwich

[โ€“] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 months ago

Why was this edited

[โ€“] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

This meme is probably like 10 years old. ๐Ÿ˜‚

[โ€“] BenLeMan@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

Bye Francis!

[โ€“] RightHandOfIkaros@lemmy.world -2 points 3 months ago (5 children)

Classic HR coming in to ruin the fun. Can't have anything because of them.

[โ€“] Artyom@lemm.ee 20 points 3 months ago

I mean, this guy stole someone else's lunch. This is like saying cops are bad after they arrested a drug kingpin.

[โ€“] orca@orcas.enjoying.yachts 9 points 3 months ago

HR - Happiness Ruiner

[โ€“] Zorque@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago

Well, certainly can't have pizza.

[โ€“] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago

I dunno, it kinda felt like she was playing along... within the constraints of still doing her job. Printing out a whole paper to say "No." when a sticky note would suffice, for example.

[โ€“] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

HR exists to protect the company, which makes them cops, which makes them bastards oppressing the poor and hungry as seen above

[โ€“] zovits@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

If your comment is sarcasm, then it's brilliant.
