Reading this kinda feels like having a stroke...

Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you’ll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you’ll do, you could- you, you want, you want him to do you so much you could do anything?

I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea what it’s supposed to say.

[–] bob_wiley@lemmy.world 28 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I think it’s supposed to be a pun, but it’s written like hell and falls apart at the end.

Of-in reads like oven. So sticking it in the oven would be of-in.

So you of-in the cold food and of-out the hot food.

Even piecing that together it still feels like having a stroke to read.

I will spend the rest of my life never knowing what Jim Davis is trying to say here other than he was suffering from an aneurysm while writing this

maybe... shove-in > 'ove-in > oven shove-out > 'ove-out > oveut so it should be called an 'oveut.' i will now oveut hot eat the food into the event horizon of the collapsed singularity formerly my grey matter. why do i feel like i've been french kissed by cthulhu?

I am now more confused than Jim Davis left me.

[–] dumptruckdan@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's true, but in order to of in the food, he has to have been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

[–] smashboy@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

I don’t think anyone has even gone that far, tbh
