About a week late to post this but someone could probably use this info.

This is a community made patch to fix serious issues playing Black Ops 3 online everything from stuttering in menus to RCEs, it's basically a requirement even if you're just playing zombies with friends.

The latest version no longer requires you to run an exe along side the game and is officially supported on Linux now.

I just recently bought black ops 3 on pc so I could play custom zombies with my friends. I'm shocked but very glad that people haven't given up on this old game

As someone who gave up on the Call of duty series after Ghost. I only bought BO3 when workshop support got added and haven't regretted it.

It's THE game for zombies fans in the current day.

Does it require linking to an Activision whatever when you play it from Steam?

As with community generated content in any game, it's a mixed bag. On the whole though it's pretty good

Is there an overview of which COD games work on Linux?
