Not real context, but I imagine the mental gymantics are going: it will be such a tremendous presidency, incredibly great, really, that nobody will ever vote non-republican again. You won't need to vote anymore. Everyone else will do it for you.
Seriously? That doesnt remotely float.
The context was that he is going to do such an amazing job that voting wont be important because things are so good. I get its silly, which it was probably meant to be, but obviously he was not claiming he was going to be dictator. Why would you believe he would claim that?
Probably because he has literally claimed he will be a dictator (for one day only, wink wink). And probably because he actually attempted, in a number of illegal ways, to not count the last election so he could remain in power. You know, like a dictator.
Look, if this was literally anybody else I'd be willing to use a more charitable interpretation. Call it a gaffe at least. But Trump should have burned every last ounce of benefit of the doubt that anybody has for him the moment he abandoned his colleagues in the Capitol so he could see what the violent mob would do.
We spent the entire 2020 election going "Oh Trump doesn't really mean it like that." Until he did exactly what he fucking said he would do. Why are we doing this again?
The issue is that literally every single thing that you guys use is misleading or a direct lie when it comes to trumps rhetoric. And you guys believe this because the media repeats these lies over and over. "No I am thinking for myself". No you are not, its obvious because the lies they are telling, you repeat exactly the same. Why do you believe these people when they keep lying to you?
Why do you believe Trump when he keeps lying to you? The eagerness to trust the explanation given to you by a literal convicted felon fraudster is astounding.
I dont believe trump... Why do you believe these people when they keep lying to you? If you had a friend that always lied would you believe them when they told you something?
Bud, you're literally parroting Trump's faux-naive explanation on what his words meant. But ok.
Feel free to address anything in my post with substance. Tell me that it's a lie that Trump said he'd be a dictator "for just a day." Or that he actually didn't try in multiple illegal ways to overturn the election. Or that he didn't spend hours doing nothing while his colleagues begged him to stop the assault on the Capitol.
If I'm repeating lies, go on. Show me.
To be fair to you, most of what you say is misleading not directly lies. So yes, trump said he was going to be dictator for just a day, but it was a joke, and the list of two things he said he was going to do were both things within his power. Mostly what you are doing is just repeating propaganda points that are lies. Why do you carry water for the people that mislead or lie to you?
We don't believe you when you keep lying to us Ivan.
Please quote the lie.
Your post contained at least 1 lie, and probably 2.
Great, can you please quote it for me?
