I concur. My current bed is 15cm longer than standard because otherwise my feet end up hanging over the edge

That happens to me too. In my daughter's bed. She's six. And really it's only if I really lay flat. It barely happens. One of the rare wins for below average height!

In my student flat where I have a regular sized bed I have started to sleep diagonally just so I fit.
