I didn't mean to say that the meme opened the door to film, I meant to say that it got him attention so that his film career took off more than the average wrestler.
He, like a bunch of wrestlers, are given bad parts... But since Unexpected Cena, it feels like his career trajectory accelerated; landing bigger parts in bigger movies more frequently.
So he used the meme to move from a The Hulk career path to a The Rock career path, is what I was trying to get at.
I can get behind that :)
