European researchers said Thursday that the the start of June saw global surface air temperatures rise 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels for the first time. That is the limit governments said they would try to limit global warming to at a 2015 summit in Paris.

Enjoying life is not tied to burning fossil fuels, and I'm not sure who told you that. Or what your obsession is with eating bugs.

Might have something to do with the sudden and rapid onset of people pushing for bug based diets? Don't tell me you have not noticed that bugs went from a novelty that you got covered in chocolate or embedded in a sucker to "let's put cricket protein in everything, fuck people with shellfish allergies!" within the last 1-2 years.
