While Anime is a beloved animation style with a rich history and extensive following, our focus here leans towards other forms of animation. This is due to the immense popularity of Anime in online spaces, which is amply covered by other dedicated communities.

While our primary goal is to discuss animated media, conversations about animation techniques and the process of creating animation are also welcome. Synopsis: Gru and Lucy and their girls — Margo, Edith and Agnes — welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina, and the family is forced to go on the run.

I think some of my favorite scenes were with the Mega Minions.
When they're out on the night watch, they screw up everything horribly. I enjoyed the reference to Spider-Man 2 with Mega Tim. But my favorite part of that whole sequence was when an old lady yelled, "I'm tired of super heroes!", which is a reference to superhero fatigue.
All in all, it was just what I expected from a Despicable Me movie. I knew exactly what I was going into, I had fun, and I had a lot of laughs.

That ending sequence with all the villains from the previous movies brought a big smile to my face, too!Illumination stated that DM4 would be the final Despicable Me film, but I've got a strong feeling that we haven't seen the last of Gru and his minion crew.
