No you aren't. You have to have knowledge of the topic in order to criticize something and we're here talking about how you're reacting to a hypothetical. This is as much a thought terminating cliche as whataboutism.
It appears that your brain just shut down when the criticism was articulated and focused at you. You brushed it off completely with a catty 'ridiculous' and went on like it never happened, changing the subject to denying you ever did anything to draw criticism at all.
