True story, I commented once that coffee made me tired and someone said "Typical ADHD" and it's what lead to be eventually being medically diagnosed.

Counterpoint: being able to drink a cup of coffee then immediately take a nap leads to the most restful 20 minutes of sleep you'll ever have.
Sure I'd rather be affected normally by caffeine, but at least it isn't a total wash.
My oldest kid had their first Coke a couple weeks ago (also dx) and my wife freaked out when she realized the kid was having caffeine at 7pm after she had finished it. Guess who was the chillest in the whole family that night.
