yup. i'm tied to unreal engine 5.

(yes, i know there's a version for linux. i need to be on windows for the latest updates and work though.)

No, but at work it's someone else's problem. I'm so glad that my employer agreed to replace my Windows machine with a Mac.

Because work usually does provide the computer and they don’t want you to tamper with it too much.

Because the software we write has to run on windows and only windows. No Linux or wine or any other platform. It’s a fixed requirement from our client and unfortunately I don’t see that changing.
