This is the first time I've seen this posted without someone in the comments calling it fatphobic and getting suuuuuper defensive about that.

I am loving the fediverse.

Given that being overweight and having diabetes is highly correlated I don't see the issue.

I think the issue with the populace regarding weight problems is how they treat it like it's a disease people choose. It's more complicated than that.

But there is some people that are overweight and in some form of denial about the health issues and that think it should just be fine and accepted by others as normal which doesn't help either.
