These are the same people who will be like "Aww they're boyfriend and girlfriend!" When two five year olds of different genders are friends.

Also this dinosaur game looks fun and cute

I just posted about it, but found out my 22 year old co-worker is pregnant and the father is her 56 year old fiance who met her at age 15, 2 years after she moved here from japan. He has another kid that's older than her. This guy is the same dude who's mad about this stuff.

[–] Emanuel@lemmy.eco.br 24 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Got to wonder how the older kid feels about their father in this scenario. Anyway, that's fucked up

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 21 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Yeah. We all feel this way at work but they were engaged prior to her joining and legally speaking it's above board and according to her "he wasn't attracted to her until she was 18". Yeah sure.

[–] Emanuel@lemmy.eco.br 20 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Sure. He just hanged out around her for three years and then decided she was hot. Not sus at all for someone who had to be in their forties to hang out around a teenager

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 14 points 7 months ago (1 children)

It was at a Judo class so it wasn't specifically in a place where he was hanging around teenagers. He just found one to target there. Also you guys know this before like most of my workplace, shebtold one person who she trusted who told me cause she trusts this person cause they're about equally close as with me but I said something when she got engaged to this creep. For work stuff we've been really good co-conspirators and when she figured out that doing culinary school just got you shit gigs she radicalized job wise fast but om this angle it's rough.

I get it, people are multifaceted. I know some people with similar stories and all this does is concern me about how we live in a society (™) that condones pedophilia and such. It's even more concerning when you take into account that groomers tend to be the best teachers of mental gymnastics and, from what I gathered, this coworker of yours is a comrade, and we all know that it's not good for us to be versed on mental gymnastics.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. I wanted something to get angry at tonight

Burgeoning comrade at beat, she just got the first dose of 2 years of full time work not being rewarding. Wouldn't go full comrade, but could get there. I'm grooming in the good way

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Lmao so the writer is an actual groomer? That's so fucked up

No, I just know a guy who's cis as fuck and a reactionary in that way who literally groomed someone who I work with. Metaphorically same dude.

She's away doing school stuff for the month and I know where they live and where he's by himself rn. I've let others know about him and his current state and address.

I once had to take my daughter home from the playground because a whole family of people thought it was so cute that their son was trying to hold her hand after she clearly had pulled away and didn’t want to. They were trying to coach him into kissing her on the cheek. She was 3. I was lucky I kept my cool.

I've been in similar situations, and I had to throw hands once to extricate my kid. I admire your restraint.
