I enjoy NSFW when seeking it out, but I don't like being bombarded with every NSFW post in the lemmyverse at all times.

In the settings I only see all on or all off.

In the old sync I remember there being an option to hide NSFW on the main pages, but to show them when you go to a specific sub, I'd like that again.

Yeah I think it would be nice to hide NSFW specific subs, but allow an NSFW post from a non NSFW sub.

Right now I'm just hiding porn subs as I see them 50+ and still going

Aren't 99% of the NSFW subs on like 2 instances? You can just block them and be done with it

Can you block a specific instance client side? Last time I went looking in settings I only saw options to block specific communities

On a post select the three dots menu > filter > filter instance.

Yes, you'll have to find a post from said instance to do it

Edit: there's a list in the settings as well

Settings shortcut: Filters > Instance filters

Lemmy v .19 added server side instance blocking a few weeks ago, but the ability has been around on sync since pretty much the start
