The 2 frontends are

  • Mlmym at old.endlesstalk.org. Here you can get the old.reddit experience.
  • Alexandrite at new.endlesstalk.org. "A beautiful and convenient desktop-first alternate web UI for Lemmy."
    • Registering isn't supported yet. Need to sign up using old.endlesstalk.org or new.endlesstalk.org.

Everyone is welcome to try them and sign up(not required). It is running on a fairly beefy server, so should be able to take a decent amount of users.

Where do you use it? In the search field, it doesn't seem to work.

Ah, if I logged out, then I'm unable to get it, when I search via url, but I can see it, if I just search for RedditMigration and limit the type to Communities

Yeah, I think there is something wrong with the kbin federation. I have been subscribed to @RedditMigration@kbin.social for some time, but there isn't any content on endlesstalk.org.

I will look into it.

there are definitely federation issues with kbin.social

I'm on lemmy.sdf.org and my subscriptions to kbin magazines are extremely flaky and sometimes don't work at all

I've tried posting about it on both my lemmy community and kbinmeta on kbin.social but never got much traction on why federation is hit-or-miss
