Nope. Same way bitch can be used for female dogs, perra, the female variation of perro, can also be used as whore. Puta however has no other translation and would be the more direct link to whore.

Neat. Thanks for the refresher. I could speak Spanish pretty decently if I could roll my r's and knew any words. Taking 6 years of it through middle and high school helped a lot but damn you lose vocab fast unless you memed phrases.
