This was my college panic trigger. If I went to an exam or made an assignment that felt way too simple or way too easy I would immediately start to panic that I'm not a genius. I'm probably just too dumb to realize that my understanding of the task is wrong, that there was a trick, twist or hidden element I wasn't taking into account.
I'm here in the comments to see if I'm missing something about the math and, also, too chicken to put an answer out there
