Quality sucks. Deezer or Qobuz let you download lossless FLACs.

LimeWire was a great way to get music for free back in the days. The Firehawk52 guide is a modern way of getting music for free.

One of those services is still alive and kicking and perhaps even better than it was during the p2p audio hayday and I'm seeking within my soul for the bravery to tell others what it is.

I haven't had much luck with Soulseek, I prefer downloading from Deezer or Qobuz with the method described in the Firehawk52 guide. And they even let you download FLACs.

I get plenty of FLAC from there. I have issues downloading anything older than a year or two on torrent sites. But YMMV, and I think it depends somewhat on what type of music you listen to.
