Hey, so the option to filter out entire instances would be nice, considering some non-english ones have very active communities.

By my understanding that would need to be supported by the Lemmy protocol directly first to work properly.

The app could just filter out stuff from blocked instances after it gets the data from Lemmy, but then you'd just get mostly-empty pages if you've blocked a lot.

Apparently the Connect app handles it client-side. It obviously doesn't translate over to browsing from desktop or anything, but it makes the app experience that much more enjoyable. Connect breaks my subscriptions though so I can't use it. Would love to see Voyager add this feature though!

The subs list is still broken? I thought instances updating past 0.18.1 fixed that issue

I'm pretty sure I didn't even try downloading Comnect until after the upgrade.

I'm not understanding what the issue is and why people don't really seem to be asking about it. Both Thunder and Connect have this problem for me, making them effectively unusable for me personally.

I've heard of some saying it's a lemmy.world problem, but that doesn't make any sense to me considering Voyager and Jerboa do NOT have this issue (all of my subs show up fine). How can it be a lemmy.world issue if these other apps work totally fine?

Others say you need to try logging out and logging back in or clearing app data, but none of that works for me.

The latest (beta?) update says it fixes subs, maybe you could try it again and let the dev know if it still don't work
