That link's not working for me, but from what I could find the drama is about this image, right?
I'm not going to claim to be an expert in generated images, but I don't see any particular signs pointing toward it being faked. It's a bit "dreamy" looking, but that's not exclusive to generated images by any means.
Also, I'm inclined to believe their denial here. I don't see any particular reason for wotc to so strongly pledge to not use these methods and then immediately use it for advertising. And even it being somehow unintentional seems like a stretch. The inner (and outer) communication at wotc has never been great, but this would be excessive even for them.

I should clarify, it doesn't work clicking through on my instance on the app I'm using. Copying it over to a browser worked, but I just googled it myself before to be efficient.
Thanks, though. I can see what people are focusing on now. Still not sure one way or the other, tbh.
If the indicator dial doesn’t sell you, then you really don’t understand the ways AI screws up images
The vacuum tubes really did it for me, those filaments are going all over the place
Luckily they have admitted it!
They already admitted it was actually made with AI.
With that said though, while Hasbro is fucking evil it would be weird for them to deny they were using AI at first until now. I wonder if one of their partners sort of fucked them over and actually used AI without telling them. Its possible they were 100% for the AI art since the start but think due to how large wizard of the coast is and with the likely usage of sub contractors it may not be on them fully with that said though, they probably should have double checked the images for any of those signs.
Link?
It's on their Twitter.
Link? I don't use Twitter.

it would be easy for them to show proof its not generated by providing work files for the scene, so somethings not adding up
Wizard could easily say the name of the artist who draw the picture, isn't like they don't credits them everytime. That way it could be easy to see if that artist have consistency on that style and the mysterious artifacts everyone is using as evidence of AI.
