I almost don't want to say it because of those godforsaken "old site" ads but; since I'm so shit at eating well I just said fuck it and started buying those meal replacement shakes. You know the ones. I will say that I'm definitely less stressed out about food/cooking now, and I have more cash to fuck around with, but the shakes also make me feel like I'm living in a dystopia, lol.
I have been wanting to do this but I also think my body will just think I haven't eaten because I haven't chewed anything, you know what I mean?
I totally get it, but trust me when I say: that s*** is filling. You know how we forget to eat right? So I started using that (and the appetite suppressant effects of Adderall) to my advantage with intermittent fasting. I'll drink a shake at noon and won't be hungry until 3 at the earliest or 5 at the latest.
Sadly my stimulation seeking has never given me that issue, even Adderall doesn't really diminish my hunger. I think most of my "hunger" is just my stomach wanting a stim
Have you ever tried some sort of stimmy food like pepitas? They're kinda a pain to eat if you're not used to it. I can do one at a time and don't have the best success rate of even getting the seed out 😂.
Pumpkin seeds are sensory hell for me sadly. I usually get by with many beverages - first coffee, 2nd decaf coffee midmorning, decaf diet coke in the afternoon, maybe a lemonade seltzer later. Baby carrots are a good munch for me, cherries. Apple and peanut butter.
Yep, I'm the same way. An IT person in my life got way into Soylent. I tried it for a while and ended up just eating double because if I don't have solid food I don't feel like I ate.
I tried Soylent and while they aren't completely awful like others I've tried, they still have the problem of not making me feel full, so I'll drink one and then still end up eating something. Usually junk.
This is fair, I keep rasin bran crunch and fake healthy snacks like sun chips around. I do free the junk food beast on weekends though.
