In a stunning turn of events, Jill Stein has won the majority of electoral votes as the Democrats and Republicans have spent the last year kicking each other off the ballots for a change, leaving it wide open for a 3rd party challenger.

Blessed timeline (I have no idea if she’d actually be a decent president though…)

[-] 420blazeit69@hexbear.net 16 points 9 months ago

She'd be better than any president anyone here has ever experienced.

First we'd have to also disqualify the ~~propertarian~~ "Libertarian Party" candidate, whomever that fuck is going to be this time around (no leftists trolling that primary this time around, unfortunately; not even Vermin Supreme). Because we live in a timeline where even that joke of a fucking party gets significantly more votes than anything even vaguely leftist.

Yeah but if they're disqualify candidates for whatever arbitrary reasons what's stopping them from doing that to any American-left parties?

Yeah, of course. Leftist parties would absolutely be the first to go, if there was any chance of them getting anywhere. LOL. Putting up with this shit is a terrible idea, "even" if it's Trump they are "disqualifying". Eugene Debs being able to run from his prison cell was, in fact, a good thing.

I was just playing along with the hypothetical.

That would 100% happen regardless. That would have happened anytime in the last 100 years
