hi all,

I installed emacs using

when I launch Emacs from the terminal with

None of the keystrokes respond in emacs and all show up in the terminal window.

I'm running:

Never had this problem when emacs was previously installed on my macs. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

solved :

*** solved downloaded the emacs app from the website and added the first sections of https://emacsformacosx.com/tips

Glad you got round it. It's still very weird, though. I wonder if there was some sort of problem specifically with the brew cask build.
