RIP, goodhearted woman.

America, if you'd vote for change, this wouldn't be necessary. The US is the only developed country where this is commonplace.

Is an over-lit room an unlit room?

Is an overloaded truck unloaded?

[–] Bonehead@kbin.social -1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

An over-lit room can be uncomfortable, even impossible, to work in.

An overloaded truck is at best unable to move, and at worst a serious danger to everything around it.

You can't work in an over-lit room because you can't see.

You can't use an overloaded truck because it can't move safely.

You can't live in an over-developed country because too many politicians are in the pockets of lobbyists who have pushed so much bullshit that's resulted in a massive ungainly tax code filled with loopholes for the rich and built to fuck over the poor.

It's exactly what was asked.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca -2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Neither reverses the effect.

An over-lit room is still a LIT room.

An OVER-loaded truck is still a loaded truck.

[–] Bonehead@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

But both are equally useless as having an unlit room or an unloaded truck.

Dude.. you're fighting to have people accept something they already accept. Get over it. Yes USA is a developed country, but not just that in it self. On top of that it is overdeveloped rendering the development useless to everyday people like you and me.

I’m not fighting anything, I’m simply pointing out that it was a dumb thing to say.

What's your point?

Mine is, that capitalism has gone too far in the US. Yours sounds more like a meaningless and irrelevant wordplay.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

My point is that what you said is complete nonsense.
