Is there a way to open external link from front page/thread list without opening the thread first? (kbin.social)

I know I can preview images and videos, but to read a news article I have to open the thread first then click the link to the article.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried searching "open link" but kbin search the whole fediverse instead of this magazine.
