I know a few graphic designers and they're STRUGGLING for work right now. It's horrible out there for them. They're available! They will absolutely make great graphics! But yeah you do kinda have to pay them and capitalists hate paying people so here we are
I mean I'm presuming they're paying this guy, it's just apparently to argue with a computer a lot.
This is what "technology = good" gets you in the end. You pay a guy to argue with a computer for no discernible reason when you could just pay some guy to do thing, and it's all because technology is understood as magic better thing instead of, you know, what it is, and it AI is fucking terrible at concept art as @thisonethatone points out
also there could even be a middle ground if the issue is adjustments a graphic designer could make the adjustments
As someone who has commissioned artwork and who has tried out the AI """art""" generators... it doesn't even begin to compare. The only way I can possibly imagine someone thinking an AI """art""" generator could replace real artists is if they've never ever worked with any artist ever.
