It seems lemm.ee is missing data that is available in other instances like lemmy.world. Even posts and comments made on lemm.ee itself.

For example, compare the profiles of @sunaurus@lemm.ee on both sites. You'll notice that on lemmy.world there are more comments more recently.

Edit: as soon as I posted this the data seems to have synced back up again.

I'm having this same issue with comments not coming through to lemm.ee. Compare https://lemm.ee/post/544163 with https://beehaw.org/post/902307

On lemm.ee the post has only 2 comments, while on beehaw it has 10. The reply to my comment is visible on beehaw but not lemm.ee and I didn't get any notifications about it.

The comments are 5 days old so it doesn't seem likely to be a slow sync issue. Sorry I don't have any technical knowhow to fix this issue but hopefully these example links help.

Hey, there were some issues with federation before 0.18.1, but I am seeing a great improvement now that servers are gradually upgrading. You can always force a sync for older posts and comments by searching directly for the original url of that post or comment on lemm.ee.

Thanks for the reply! Good to know the new version should be solving it and that trick to force a sync. Thanks for running this great instance!
