First post over here so we'll see if I can navigate through it! 🤣. Glad to have this nice open platform as an option and backup to "others."

I was chatting with someone the other day and they had mentioned to me how they really liked the warm, cozy, fire like, 1,850k e17a recently. With fall upon us, and colder weather approaching every day, it was all the urging I needed to try out a super warm emitter.

Figured an antique brass D4v2, with an amber switch would be a nice fit for the fiery torch. When brand new, the antique brass finish can be fairly dark until it starts wearing in some. I got some Brasso metal polish with the intention of lightly removing some of the dark finish and revealing the brass underneath quicker, but in just the few days that I've been handling it, the light is already wearing in nicely, and I think I'll just enjoy the natural wear process instead.

It's a very unique light, with the orangey, fire like emitter. Definitely sets itself apart from my other "more normal" lights. I really like and enjoy it though. Using candle mode is awesome, whether it is to ceiling bounce and simulate a cozy fireplace, or even just to use the flickering, fire like torch for wandering around the house and annoying the fam., it's pretty neat!

While it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for a general purpose type of light, it is a very fun, and unique light to create a unique atmosphere and ambiance when relaxing.

I took a few indoor, outdoor, and then some tint comparisons with a 519a 2,700k dedomed and an actual candle linked below. I also did a closer comparison with 519a 2,700k dedomed in a Sofirn LT1S pro lantern that I have since the 2700k DD in my DT8 has Zircon minus green covering it for extra rosiness which isn't the norm. Thanks all, hit me up for any questions.
